We are doing translational research on gynecologic cancers focusing on diagnostics and targeted therapy. The research team is led by docent Sakari Hietanen, MD, PhD, the head of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Turku University Hospital. Our primary research topic at the moment is ovarian cancer. We function as a clinical research unit in the international DECIDER consortium.
